Give a Few Hours of Your Time to Listen and Provide Feedbak to Our High School Students as They Compete in a Speech & Debate Tournament

**Get a group of friends together and make it an outing!
**Considering this extracurric for your student? This is a great way to see what it is all about.
**Is your college student home and bored? No experience necessary! Judges have to be 18 and no longer enrolled in high school.
**We need 200 volunteers and only have a fraction so far. Please consider volunteering.

WHEN: Choose any time slot on Jan 7 – 10, 2019 (Starts Mon afternoon and goes through Thursday evening)
WHERE: Blinn Community College – 902 College Ave – Brenham, TX 77833
HOW LONG: Plan to spend a minimum of 3 hours at the college

WHAT ARE THE KIDS DEBATING/SPEAKING ABOUT?
Team Policy debate students are debating about US foreign policy regarding international terrorism.
Lincoln Douglas debate students are debating about the value of free trade and fair trade.
Additionally, there are 10 Speech Events that fall under 3 categories: Platform speeches, Interpretation speeches, and Limited Preparation speeches.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER? Yes,
1.) Please go to: https://www.ncfca.org/judge/
2.) Click on blue rectangle that says “Sign Up to Become a Judge”
3.) Click on the state of Texas.
4.) Select “All Region Brenham, TX Qualifier”
5.) Choose your preferred time slots

No experience needed. Orientation & Instruction provided. Complimentary drinks and snacks provided.
