In order to have your senior walk at a graduation in May, you need to attend one of the orientations going on in January. There are several in the Houston area. We hope to post all the ones that contact us for promotion.

The HCYA Homeschool Graduation Committee is seeking to honor exemplary home school students with a graduation ceremony at Champion Forest Baptist Church on May 9, 2015. The purpose of this event is to recognize the achievements of these students and to promote home schooling to the community.
Requirements:The Homeschool Christian Youth Association is a distinctly Christian organization. Applicants must carefully read the HCYA Statement of Belief and Purpose and acknowledge that Graduation will be conducted as a Christian event. Prospective graduates should have been home schooled a minimum of two years. Graduation Costs: $355 January 21 : Deadline to receive $20 HCYA Membership fee and $20 Application fee along with the Application & Supporting documents February 7 : The first of two payments is due. $152.50 March 12 : The second of two payments is due. $152.50 The HCYA fees cover the cost of: cap (with tassel) and gown, commencement speaker, light reception, venue cost, graduation photo of graduation class plus photo of parents with the graduate, printed program, audio visual showing each graduate speaking with photos they have chosen set to music of their choice, DVD of the entire graduation ceremony, honor cords when earned, diploma on acid free paper with a diploma cover, honor awards for graduates chosen by the HCYA Graduation Committee, possible financial award for a graduate that stands out from the rest, and a rose for the graduate to present to their mother.

The Application Package is in a ZIP file called: Student-Name 2015 GRAD APPL.zip
OPEN the ZIP file and DRAG the folder Student-Name 2015 GRAD APPL out of the ZIP file to your Desktop or into another folder. Work on the Folder that has been removed from the ZIP file.
Follow the instructions in the file: _2015_INSTRUCTIONS_GRAD_APPLICATION.pdf
Rename “Student-Name” to Graduate’s Name “Last – First Middle” on all files
You MUST use Acrobat Reader. Some other PDF programs do not handle forms correctly.
